My Story

Raised in Montana’s legendary Big Sky Country, I’ve always been drawn to the more chaotic, raw, and untamed side of Mother Nature. The wild is where I feel most at home — connected to the elements, grounded in the real. When I was ten, my parents gave me an old used Polaroid camera, and from that moment on, I was hooked on capturing fleeting moments that tell deeper stories.

That early spark evolved into decades of photography experience, ranging from commercial work to creative entrepreneurship. But today, my focus is singular: to pursue and preserve those rare, primal moments that nature reveals only when it chooses. I travel to meet those moments — whether it's a violent ocean storm, a predator on the move, or a sudden break of light over a silent ridgeline — and I bring them to life through my lens and in the Savage Lens™ studio.

Every piece in the Savage Lens™ collection is created with precision and intention. I control the process from capture to final print — using museum-grade giclée printing on 100+ year archival papers, pigment-based inks, and limited edition runs that are blockchain-certified for authenticity in the fine art world. Each image includes the full backstory, because to me, it’s not just about what you see — it’s about what it took to get there.

My work is cinematic. It’s moody, intense, and full of atmospheric energy — designed to make you feel something. At Savage Lens™, the untamed world isn’t just documented — it’s transformed into collectible fine art with meaning and memory behind every frame.
